Magnet plugin privacy notice
Last updated: October 2, 2026. This notice describes the Magnet website-audit plugin operated by ProjectA.ai and supplements the ProjectA.ai privacy policy.
Inputs and information processed
The plugin sends the website domain or URL you ask it to analyze to ProjectA's audit service. Progress requests send an audit job identifier. The audit processes publicly accessible website content and available search, company and AI visibility information. This integration does not request your email, phone number, payment details, or a developer API key. The plugin's tools do not request the full ChatGPT conversation.
Purpose and providers
We process these inputs to produce and deliver website audits, operate the service, prevent abuse and measure usage. The underlying audit service is configured to use third-party crawling, search and AI-analysis providers, including Bright Data, DataForSEO, Perplexity and MiniMax when available. A provider's availability can change which checks run. Hosting infrastructure also processes request metadata necessary to serve requests.
Public reports
Completed reports include the submitted domain and audit findings. They are published at publicly accessible report URLs on aeo.projecta.ai and may be accessible to other people or search engines. Do not submit a website if you do not want its generated audit report published. Sending a domain is not an email subscription or a marketing opt-in.
Retention
The audit service reuses cached results for approximately 24 hours. Its report cleanup is configured to remove report files older than seven days, with cleanup running approximately every six hours while the service is running. Job progress is stored in memory and can disappear when the audit service restarts. These operational settings do not mean that every related log, backup, or provider copy is deleted on the same schedule.
The plugin bridge keeps daily request counters and completed job identifiers for its most recently active UTC day. These are reset when a new day's audit request is made. Its domain deduplication cache is held in memory for up to 24 hours and is cleared on restart. Infrastructure logs and backups can retain request metadata separately.
Corrections, removal and questions
For questions about this integration, to report an inaccurate audit, or to request removal of a ProjectA-hosted report, contact dev@projecta.ai or use ProjectA support. Include the report URL or website domain so the report can be located. A removal request to ProjectA does not itself remove copies held independently by search engines or other parties.
